Digital art: drawing on a tablet

Drawing is one of the ways of self-expression and development. Any designer, artist or architect should have this skill nowadays. However, in the world of digital technologies it’s not enough to just draw well, you need to be able to work professionally in graphic editors such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, as well as own a graphic tablet.

The uniqueness of this course lies in the technological approach to drawing. A graphic tablet will serve as a brush, pencils and paints. The ability to combine digital technology and drawing mastery is necessary for advancing in a creative career and relevant for hobbies.

Two separate programs have been developed as part of the course:

• For younger children who are just starting to work with graphic tools, from 6,5 to 12 years old;
• And for those who already have experience in graphic design and are ready for serious creative work, from 12 to 16 years.

In the the course "Digital art: drawing on the tablet" your child will:

• Learn the basics of drawing, sketching (quick sketches) from scratch;
• Learn the basics of composition, coloristics;
• Learn to install drivers and necessary functions;
• Learn to digitize the image;
• Open up new possibilities and develop creative thinking;
• Master the graphic tablet perfectly;
• Master the work in the most relevant programs to date - Adobe Photoshop Adobe Illustrator;
• Will be able to create stickers, prints for clothes, animation or real works of art.

And most importantly, this course is suitable for both who just decided to go in for creativity, and for those who are preparing to enter creative universities and connect their lives with art and design.

In addition to the basics of drawing and mastering of relevant software, students will learn a lot of useful information that is necessary for completing work, and the teacher will explain in an accessible way types of compositions, teach how to correct mistakes, and correctly position figures in work.

After the course “Digital art: drawing on a tablet”, a child will be able to create digital paintings, logos, modern illustrations, use graphic editors and a graphic tablet, and develop brands. The result of the course will be your own portfolio with works, like a real designer.

For completing homework, you will need any graphics tablet that connects to a computer.
